L3 (LIMPOPO LEARNING LABS)

Most schools in marginalised localities, do not have proper functioning Computer Labs, Libraries, Math and Science Labs, a disparity that Phetolo seeks to remedy urgently Phetolo believes that a well-resourced school is likely to produce students with good marks resulting in an equal opportunity to be considered for bursaries, financial assistance and admittance to the country’s top institutions of higher education.

CAMP OF EXCELLENCE (COE)

Phetolo is of the view that grade 12 repeating or progressed learners require a concerted effort to ensure that they improve their results to gain entry to institutions of further education.

Phetolo seeks to establish COE to augment teaching and learning for grade 12 repeating or progressed learners in the Mogalakwena Circuit. Phetolo believes a concerted and vigorous intervention is needed if improvement is to be achieved with these learners. It is well known that extra effort is required in education hence commercialized private tutoring is growing at an astronomical pace in south Africa. It is our reality that the learners from marginalized and under-resourced background will fall through the cracks and be caught in the vicious cycle of poverty. Phetolo seeks to partner with organizations to afford these learners an opportunity to salvage their future through this camp.

BUKA YA KA

Phetolo Organisation is introducing the hobby of reading to primary school learners with the aim of building a library in the future.

This project is target at introducing the hobby of reading early in primary school learner. Most problems with reading in disadvatanged communities is associated with access to books. A library or place to access books is crucial to motivating young children to read.
